About the TREC@WUSTL Program
The Education, Training and Outreach Core facilitates the TREC@WUSTL postdoctoral training program. The two main goals of this transdisciplinary training program are to:
- Produce scholars capable of applying transdisciplinary research approaches to energetics and cancer in order to understand the topic in its complexity, from discovery to implementation
- Expose existing predoctoral, postdoctoral and other investigators to transdisciplinary learning opportunities in the area of energetics and cancer
Trainees work with a primary mentor and other mentors as deemed appropriate. Specialized, individual programs of study are designed to expose each scholar to the spectrum of perspectives on energetics and cancer. Professional development activities for predoctoral and postdoctoral scholars include the Research Methods Workshop Series, Transdisciplinary Journal Club, Works in Progress and other development seminars.
